dailyconnectionwithnature Europe feature nature travel

Time to uproot

September 11, 2018

Followed a sign for a lake as I was thinking of swimming but it turned out to be a plant-filled-pond. Not swimmable! I did, however find this lovely wild mint instead. And the Alder trees here asked me to visualise what it is that I really want instead of what I think people want from me. Speaking the words out loud made them real: I want to travel Europe in the van with Andy and the hounds; with my poetry and workshops. I want to finish the first draft of this novel by the end of the year, and finish the new poetry collection next year. I want to explore and create, to make new connections and friendships, to always return to my root of Wales but for now I want to travel across countries like a swallow; be a dragonfly skimming the surface. #dailyconnectionwithnature day110
